Supply chain management is concerned with the entire lifecycle of a product or service, from the raw material stages all the way through to consumption and disposal. It includes managing technical processes (such as sourcing, logistics and daily operations) and customer and supplier relationships product development and design. Skills within this program can be applied towards a number of career opportunities. While these include traditional supply chain roles (such as inventory manager, purchasing manager, supply planner, transport manager, logistics manager, and purchasing officer), the purpose of this major is to develop your interdisciplinary business skills to apply supply chain knowledges towards all aspects of an organisation.
