Public relations practitioners are 21st century communication specialists who manage and coordinate relationships between organisations, agencies and the public. With a focus on ethical and sustainable communication practices, the course builds key knowledge and skills in core public relations responsibilities such as: event management and campaigns social media tactics and media relations strategic planning, management and communication. Final-year students can develop their skills further by undertaking an industry internship, working with real clients to develop a public relations campaign.
