Designed for international students, the Bachelor of Actuarial Science (3 Year Program) is completed in a two-semester-per year capacity, meaning you will only study during the January and September semesters of each year. As a Bond Business School student, you will have exclusive access to facilities including the Bond FinTech Hub which enables you the opportunity to gain a Bloomberg certification, while you can extend your data analytics knowledge with access to the advanced computing environment of the Centre for Data Analytics and its experts in this field. The program structure allows attainment of exemptions for all components of Part I (Foundation Program) accreditation with the Actuaries Institute.The Bachelor of Actuarial Science (3 Year Program) is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond FinTech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. The program develops students’ skills in the challenge of crunching 'big data' numbers to create practical solutions for real-world problems. Employment opportunities include working as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, actuarial consultant, insurance actuary, superannuation actuary, risk analyst, big data analyst, liability manager and high-level manager.
