Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) is the largest community college in New Mexico, providing students a premier yet affordable education. Since its inception in 1963, the college’s career-oriented technical programs in business, technologies, health and trades have been frequently updated and redesigned to provide students with the most relevant skills required by local employers. Transformation into a fully functional community college happened in 1986. CNM’s academic programs are designed in collaboration with representatives from local businesses and industries, which facilitates the process of acquiring the real-life skills needed by students for success in the workplace. The college has multiple transfer articulation agreements with four-year institutions around the state. The 2,000 faculty and staff are the college’s most important resource for achieving its vision of ‘Changing Lives, Building Community’.
