Unlike other degree programs in finance that concentrate almost exclusively on theoretical concepts, the Graziadio Master of Science in Applied Finance is STEM-designated and takes an experience-based approach to prepare students for a variety of finance-related careers. Whether you choose the 12- or 15-month program option, you will gain valuable skills and knowledge in relevant topics such as business valuation, equity analysis, financial accounting, and investment banking, while being mentored by industry-leading faculty.

Curriculum Tracks
Students may choose from two curriculum tracks:
Curriculum 1: Financial Management
This track addresses topics relevant to a career in corporate finance. Required classes include: Strategic Issues in Finance, Capital Markets, Working Capital Management, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Career opportunities include corporate finance, financial planning, and financial institution management.
Curriculum 2: Investments
This track emphasizes on skills in such in-demand expertise as business valuation, equity analysis, and investment banking. Additionally, it provides knowledge to prepare you for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.
