Students need an honours degree from a recognised institution in the USA with a GPA of at least: 2.8 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for entry to programmes with a 2:2 requirement; 3.2 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) for entry to programmes with a 2:1 requirement.

In order to be considered, applicants will have or should be expecting to achieve an Honours degree (2:1 or higher) or postgraduate diploma from a UK university (or overseas equivalent) in a highly quantitative subject. Applicants must have achieved a mark equivalent to a 2:2 at undergraduate level in Mathematics or Mathematics related modules. If necessary we will assess the academic transcript for performance in Mathematics and Mathematics related modules. A minimum of GCE A-Level grade D (or overseas equivalent) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics or Statistics may also be considered to meet the quantitative requirement.
IELTS (academic): We normally require an IELTS 7.0 but 6.5 will be considered as an exception on a case-by-case basis; TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 100 overall with minimum scores of 22 in all elements Or, another English qualification recognised by the University, or a SELT exemption Or Pre-sessional English course offered by the University to fulfil the requirement of English.
