COURSE INFORMATION
Are you interested in why and how music and sound has an emotional impact on you and others? Are you interested in science, technology, engineering and creativity? Then this demanding creative and technical course is for you! It’s a highly practical course, delivered in our uniquely designed specialist professional recording studio complex. It is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for working in the sound production industry in a variety of roles.
Working on a range of projects from week 1, whether you’re interested in audio engineering, music production, sound design for games and film, re-mixing or using DAWs and instruments to create songs and soundscapes, we’ll support you to acquire work-ready skills. You’ll also develop an understanding of the wider creative industries and how your skills can contribute to the success of computer games, film and television, music, radio production, and much more.
You will also be able to study for your AVID Pro Tools certification. As well as employment or self-employment you will have the opportunity to progress to University based BA or BSc. Qualifications in creative sound production, sound/ audio engineering, commercial music production and more.
