For entry to a Kent undergraduate degree programme, Vietnamese students typically need to have completed one of the following: Foundation programme in Vietnam or the UK – requirements will depend on the programme taken; The first year of a Bachelor degree with an average grade of at least 7.5/10 or 3.2/4.0; Associate Degree/Diploma (Bang Tot Nghiep Cao Dang) with a final grade of at least 7.5/10 or 3.2/4.0. If you are studying, or have studied, the International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, or A levels, US qualifications such as SATs, ACTs, Advanced Placement tests or an Associate Degree will also be considered. We have a standard International Baccalaureate Diploma offer of 34 points across all programmes of study including any specific subjects at higher or standard level required by the particular degree programme. Students from Vietnam wishing to pursue a foundation programme at Kent will need to obtain a final grade of at least 7/10 in their Upper Secondary/High School Graduation Certificate (Bang Tot Nghiep Pho Thong Trung Hoc). Applicants should have grades of at least 7/10 in the subject area that they wish to take in their undergraduate degree (i.e. natural sciences or social sciences). Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in R&W; 5.5 in S&L).
