The International Diploma in Gaming and Animation Technology teaches students the basics of animation and game creation. Subjects include using programming languages C++ and Java for games creations, games mathematics and physics, web technologies, introduction to computers and networking, video and image editing skills and creating arcade-style games. Students enrolled in this diploma will be expected to learn multiple programming languages in order to write code for the creation of original computer e skills acquired will enable the students to develop their own digital video games. In addition, students will be equipped with imaging, sound, video and animation skills that allow them to gain entry into advertising and marketing industries.
Delivery model
Combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops in a classroom environment at Informatics Academy campus. Lessons are typically in blocks of 3-hour sessions.

Graduation Requirement
Upon successful completion of all modules, students will be eligible for the International Diploma in Gaming and Animation Technology awarded by Informatics Academy.
Pathways
Upon successful completion of the International Diploma in Gaming and Animation Technology awarded by Informatics Academy, the student is eligible to apply for an Informatics Academy International Advanced Diploma in Gaming and Animation Technology.
