Students must have at least 17 years old and the following requirements are
a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from Monash University, requiring at least four years of full-time study, which normally includes a research component in the fourth year, leading to an honours degree at H1 or H2A level, or
a course leading to a master’s preliminary qualification at a level rated by the relevant department, school and committee as equivalent to an honours class 1 or 2A degree, or
a master’s degree in a related discipline, including a significant research component, at least equivalent to an Australian honours degree (a full-time year of research and an examined thesis). It is normally expected that a minimum grade of H2A has been obtained for the research thesis or project, or
a qualification deemed equivalent to the above.
They also must have the following requirements are
IELTS (International English Language Testing System – academic test): Overall score: 6.5, Listening score: 6.0, Reading score: 6.0, Writing score: 6.0, Speaking score: 6.0
Paper-based TOEFL (American Test of English as a Foreign Language): Total Score: 550 or above. Test of Written English Score: 4.5 or above
Internet-based TOEFL (American Test of English as a Foreign Language): Total Score: 79, Listening score: 12, Reading score: 13, Writing score: 21, Speaking score: 18
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English): Overall score: 58, Listening score: 50, Reading score: 50, Writing score: 50, Speaking score: 50
