OVERVIEW
The accredited Diploma of Remedial Massage equips you with the understanding needed to deliver a wide range of massage techniques enabling you to work as a skilled remedial massage therapist in the health and wellness industry.
Learn about myofascial release, trigger point therapy, lymphatic and sports massage technique, and perform and adapt remedial massage treatments. You will also learn how to do musculoskeletal assessments as well as analyse health information for tailored treatments.

Work Placement Requirements:
To achieve this qualification, all students must have completed at least 200 hours of clinic work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. This must include a minimum of 100 clients and is completed through the onsite clinics. If a student is working within the industry, they can log a maximum of 50 hours offsite within a clinic setting with the remaining 150 hours to be completed within the onsite clinics.
Students will be required to complete a logbook for record of the work placement so they can practice their skills and embed the knowledge they have learned during the course.

Remedial massage is a complementary health service that sits beside practices such as aromatherapy, kinesiology, reflexology and shiatsu.
